Our Philosophy
The Tax Collector's office, just like a private business, must focus on service to the general public. Toward that end, the office personnel must be courteous to its customers, the office equipment must be modern and up to date in order to keep up with ever-changing technology, and office personnel at all levels should be trained and retrained as necessary to maintain and improve their skills.
The office must provide efficient, accurate, and timely services and information to its clients and to the public. And we must do the job within the parameters of state approved budgets.

Welcome Message
Welcome to the St. Lucie County Tax Collector’s web site. The employees and I are very proud of our service and commitment to our ‘customers’, the citizens of St. Lucie County.
We have made many improvements in the office since October, 2005. For example, now all of our services; vehicle registration renewals, Real Estate Tax, Tangible Personal Property Tax, Centrally Assessed Tax, Local Business Tax Receipts, Tourist Development Tax, Alarm Permit Tax and Hunting & Fishing can now be processed four different ways: over the internet, over the telephone, by mail, and by visiting the office.
If you have any questions about the Tax Collector's office, please come in to visit, or telephone.
